The mayor or someone on the council is probably having a garden party, or hosting friends from out of town, until about the 25th.
They extended the date to October 12 because then they only have to extend it one time, for three additional weeks, to make it to election day.
The first mask “order” is for almost seven weeks, so when they only extend it for three more, everyone will gush about how magnanimous they are.
And did they say where they’d be placing the biohazard collection containers for all these masks that are slathered in this deadly disease?
I know.
I just gave the best case scenario and it’s a complete failure.
yes but there’s something to be said fro not doing something you know doesn’t work, but because people erroneously think iit does, and therefore falsely feel better.
its appeasing people with wrong ideas they think are scientifically correct when they aren’t
to mandate we all play along to placate the fearful wrong folks is demanding we agree 2+2 =5, or that a tail is a leg.
Viruses are nanoparticles that go right through pretty much any type of public - use mask. Hospital-grade N95s have to be changed out every 6 hours and sanitized in a machine (contaminated hospital coveralls, etc have to be destroyed) and the only other respite is to wear a Chemturion II Biohazard Suit and set up an array of decon wash chambers.
In this case, yes. You see, I happen to be a chemist and understand the size ranges involved. I "could" post half a dozen links, but I've already done that on other threads.
“And did they say where theyd be placing the biohazard collection containers for all these masks that are slathered in this deadly disease?”
Biohazard collection containers? What biohazard collection containers: Surely you jest! :-)
Btw, could some kind-hearted soul Freepmail ma and tell me how to put quoted stuff in italics? Thanks in advance!
The article fails to explain that you can’t “incorrectly” wear the common masks that cannot work. They cannot work because they force wearers to inhale/exhale air flowing through their loose edges. Even if their edges were airtight, the fabric cannot filter out viruses.
And what about the breathing problems for wearers? You have to work harder to breathe, and when you inhale, you’re going to take in some stale air trapped in the mask from the exhale.
The only problem with your little fantasy is that it isn't "virus nanoparticles" that are emitted by humans in coughing, sneezing, talking, or breathing...what comes out are saline microdroplets, which are far larger than individual virus particles. Even if those microdroplets evaporate off all water, they are still much, much larger than a virus particle.
There are so many diseases these masks are nothing but petri dishes for. Hep-A, MRSA, Tuberculosis ...
Yep there is another one. There must be dozens of bacterial and fungal infections that love a good start in a warm moist environment.

May not be some “little fantasy”....
Did you actually READ that article?? Not a thing there disagrees with what I said/wrote...in fact, it supports it.
