Citing COVID-19 clusters, compliance violations, Massachusetts postpones second step of Phase 3 reopening ‘indefinitely,’

Citing recent large parties that fly in the face of the COVID-19 restrictions, Gov. Charlie Baker said Friday Massachusetts will indefinitely postpone entering the second step of Phase 3.

The Republican governor said Friday that the state would not only postpone this segment of the reopening but also ramp up enforcement, creating a multi-agency coalition with police officials to crack down on violations of the COVID-19 regulations that are supposed to limit community transmissions.

“In some respects we’re entering a new phase in our battle against COVID-19,” Baker said during a news conference at the Massachusetts State House.

That new phase involves preventing a “slow creep” of COVID-19 rates, as Health and Human Services Secretary Marylou Sudders described it last week. The state plans to start releasing larger batches of community-level data to give a closer look of how how towns and cities are faring in the coronavirus pandemic.

Postponing the second step means that theaters and performance venues cannot hold indoor shows. Outdoor performances, such as drive-in movie theaters, are allowed to continue.

While batting cages, bowling alleys and driving ranges have gotten the green light to resume, laser tag, roller skating, trampolines and obstacle courses will be put on hold.

Baker’s announcement also means that businesses allowed to reopen in Phase 4 — bars, overnight camps and arcades — must remain closed.

How many "phase 4" business that have been closed since March will actually reopen when Comrade Baker allows them to. I bet they are looking at 25-50% or more never reopening.

“Indefinitely” means until November 4 if Biden wins, or until the next Demonic-rat president wins.

If they make Hydroxychloroquine Over The Counter instead of prescription these tyrannies will not be tolerated.

And what do the Stats show when we click here for Santa Clara County Kiddies?

https://www.sccgov.org/sites/covid19/Pages/dashboard-demographics-of-cases-and-deaths.aspx

You will see two buttons next to each other "Cases" "Deaths"

Click on Deaths and you find

19 or under  0%

20-29  0%

30-39   2.4%

40-49   3.6%

50-59   10.2%

60-69   16.33%

70-79   21.94%

80-89   25.51%

90+      20.92%

Deaths by Underlying Health Conditions (Comordibities)

1 or more Comordibities 81.1%

NONE          13.3%

Unknown       5.6%

If we add the state relevant to risk, who should excercise risk aversion and risk to the economy we get

70 Years and older of the stats above 68.37%

Throw in 60+ and you get 84.7%

But the key determinent in cause of death is this number; 88.1% of all Covid-19 deaths had 1 or more comorbidities!!!

IRRC the annual flu has similar statistics as above

This is a viral and we have been dealing them intellectually and scientifically for over 150 years.

We know how to deal them and are very effective

Where does this leave us?

This has to end for it's amoral farce or it will soon be actionable...

It’s been a few days since I’ve heard Trump say “the governors are doing a great job.”

Hopefully he’s realized how dweebs like this make him look foolish.

>>Outdoor performances, such as drive-in movie theaters, are allowed to continue.

A couple who operate a 200 seat concert venue in Beverly MA, (9 Wallis, “no seat more than 20 ft from the stage”) have started doing drive in concerts in neighboring Manchester-by-the-Sea with social distancing of vehicles and they charge $75/ carload

For those unfamiliar with the Gay State we have a Governor who's openly admitted that he's not even pretending to be a RINO.He never misses an opportunity to express his hatred and contempt for the President. Although there's an “R” after his name he's every bit as venomous as Bella Pelosi,Chuck U Schummer,Osama Obama...

Keep voting Democrat Massachusetts, while complaining about the shackles
