Bundy hasn’t paid the federal government its due in more 25 years. He’s ignored his fees, fines, permits and multiple court orders since 1993 racking up more than a million dollars he owes the people of the US. The fines are a result of Bundy grazing his 900 cattle on 600,000 acres of bureau-managed public lands since 1993 without a permit.
Plenty of other ranchers pay their grazing fees; in fact, the Bureau of Land Management issues 18,000 permits for grazing on 160 million acres of public lands. The U.S. Forest Service allows grazing on an additional 81 million acres of public lands. And all it takes is a permit to be obtained. But Bundy decided he was not going to pay his due to the people that own that land.
And then to get people to assist him by threatening bodily harm to people trying to do the people’s business, is detestable.
Everyone raised he(( when the chop people took over a piece of Seattle for personal use illegally. And then forceable threatened the police trying to disperse them from the area they were using. And there is only one difference....Bundy’s been doing it for over 25 years.

There is no reason for the Federal Government to own all that land. They own up to half of several western states.
Why do USAians have to pay government fees to use USA land? It is land held in common among us. Our fathers free-ranged for all of our history until DC took the land. Why does DC own massive pieces of the states land? Since when was DC given power to seize or be given the lands of our states? How few know our actual laws, heritage and common laws. DC is a foreign power to USConstitution and We-The-People.
DC owns DC, federal court land, federal military bases and a few other pieces of land, lawfully. No authority for most of what DC has decided to do. Broke their charter, created by We-The-People and the individual states.

The chop folks hijacked buildings, businesses, and streets, that were in use by other rightful owners. They threatened, and extorted from the residents, and denied them unabated travel.
Bundy grazed cattle. That means they ate grass, that grows back. He didn’t deny anyone the use of “our” land, or impede their travel.
I say the gov’t has no business owning any land, other than monuments, admin. buildings, and D.C.
Well, that'll happen when the BLM and other government entities decide they, and not the people, own much of the West.

From what I recall, his position was that his family had been using that land for grazing from well before the BLM was even created.
You have no idea what you are talking about...you work for the gov, so that is no surprise.
If the BLM idiots really wanted to arrest Bundy, they would have contacted the local sheriff, the highest law-enforcement entity in the county, and he would have served the warrant...but no, the stupid BLM had a freekin moron, Dan Love, who was a special forces wanna be, in charge and he tried to militarize the entire process. It is just fortunate someone wasn't killed...there was no reason for an armed confrontation.
Dan Love was finally kicked out of the BLM and is hopefully cleaning toilets somewhere...the only job to which he is suited.
