I like the new COVID press conferences. I admit I was concerned. But like like the change. Yes, the reading of PPE, Ventilator info goes long. But its necessary info. But more important no battles with weijia and yamiche etc like before.

Have you ever actually watched "The Five"?   It sounds like you've never really seen it.   It is not a "news" show, but more of an opinion/discussion/commentary/debate show, featuring five people with different points of view, discussing selected topics.

A couple of the people on that show are really funny, and also make cogent, inciteful commentary about various current issues.   (President Trump must like their commentary a lot too, as he retweets a whole lot of show segments from various other shows featuring those guys!)

President Trump must have been listening to me tonight, as he waited till after 6 PM to start his presser!        :-)

The only problem with that is that, if Trump's presser cuts "The Five" show in half, you will still only be able to see that "half-show", if you watch it on youtube later.   That's all there is of the show on those nights.   (In contrast, I believe you can see the entire Trump presser, if you watch that on youtube later.)
