Scalise voted for the defense bill with the base renaming provision. On his last town hall he said he did it out of respect for Lincoln. He doesn't mind having history purged if it is done in an orderly manner, no rioting please. Sheeesh.

Compared to everything else, base renaming is at the bottom of my list. I don’t think it matters if Ft. Bragg stays Ft. Bragg or is named something else. Some may be nostalgic, but I don’t care. I care more about not giving money to sanctuary cities, states to bail out their bad pension deals with untions, mail in voting, no voting ID - How dare Pelosi demand how states run their elections - each state has the authority to run its elections as they see fit - etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

Personally I dont think Trump will sign anything with any of that in but you never know what deal will be cooked up by Mitch McConnell and co.

We in Louisiana know there are much more important problems plaguing our state than the names of military bases. So nobody here is even talking about that.
And truth is with demographics changing as much as they have, there are not many descendants of the CSA left. Just the facts.
Scalise has stood up to the liberals who tried to assassinate him more than most Repubs. What has your representative done?
And to pick a silly issue like the name of a fort to criticize Scalise is missing the point entirely.

That the America/American-hating Democrat/Left simply cannot abide Trump's re-election -- they simply cannot "allow" it to happen lest they lose control of all three branches of the federal government for at least the next four years -- is an irrefutable fact.

I've been using this fact to understand the Democrat/Left's words and actions since the beginning of this year and doing so has really clarified things for me.

Now, with this fact clearly in mind, we must determine what the increasingly desperate America/American-hating Democrat/Left is going to do as we approach the first Tuesday in November. The America/American-hating Democrat/Left Party has no viable candidate, their two-point party platform of replacing capitalism with socialism then communism, and replacing responsible government with anarchy is driving away measurable portions of their base, and their current tactics (endless investigations; impeachment; economic and social destruction; dismantling Constitutional protections, etc.) are becoming less effective and losing favor among exhausted voters.

The America/American-hating Democrat/Left is, at this point, capable of doing anything to anybody ... so prepare yourself for what's coming next and for what will surely increase exponentially in intensity the closer we get to the election.
