People, correct me if I am wrong but did not a federal judge in Texas throw out the not guilty of murder verdicts on several Branch Davidians and then arbitrarily, and without the authority, sentence them to prison anyway? The federal judges have been out of control for a long, long, time.

More proof that the punishment is the process. The federal government has unlimited resources so dragging out proceedings and forcing a defendant to keep paying legal bills until he is destitute IS the punishment.

More criminal government in action.

-- Unfortunately, it gives the democrats just what they want, another way to influence the election in November. --

That axe swings both ways.

This case and several others ... the way our government rebelled against the election, and then our government covered it up ... the way our government is rejecting the will of the people .. those actions by the government also influence the election in November.

Trump is the only person who has a chance of shining a light on how abusive the government is. Any other president, and the abuse will be buried and accelerated.

“The GOP missed a huge opportunity in 2017 and 2018 when it controlled both houses of Congress and the Senate.”

No! The GOP blew it? They didn’t even try?

You are right. They didn’t try.

Pardon Gen Flynn and make him the head of the FBI.

Which is exactly why the process is taking forever and going nowhere fast.

The problem doesn’t start with actual trials - the problem starts long before that because you can’t indict without first demonstrating to the courts that your case is winnable, and since it isn’t winnable, you can’t even indict.

People should keep this in mind before they trash the AG and others for failing to indict.

President Trump should not pardon Flynn at this point when Flynn is still trying to be exonerated. Only if Trump loses should he issue a pardon to Flynn.

Of course if Biden wins, Attorney General Stacey Abrams will try to find another charge to go after Flynn with.

By the way where is Durham report.

Be patient we still have 8 days before the dreaded 90 day rule comes into play. After all we still have those 6000 sealed indictments that Sessons produced while we waited patiently for action.

Exactly! The judge has no standing to contest the dismissal because he is not a party to the case.

FOX is just writing BS headlines for the narrative.

What exactly is the 90 day Rule?

No DOJ politically related criminal prosecutions 90 days before an election. Or 60 days. It’s not a law but a tradition. Or something. Barr will use it to punt Durham and everything else over election day.

The government isn’t a party, no matter what. This is court vs. defendant. The government’s stake in this is government power to withdraw a charge. as far as the court is concerned, it HAS allowed the charge to be withdrawn. What Sullivan is not releasing is the defendant, and he is doing so by abuse of judicial power.

I think you are saying the en banc appeals court should rule in favor of Flynn, and I agree. But how many of them are Obama/Bush/Clinton deep staters?

Maybe this is for the best.

There may be much, much more chicanery that went on and it would be great to have it exposed if this court proceeding permits DISCOVERY.
