In the coming months, the representative said, Hallmark will make announcements about "projects featuring LGBTQ storylines, characters and actors."

I am of the generation that bought greeting cards.
Not from Hallmark now.
Will the people who enjoy the Hallmark Christmas movies and light-hearted romantic comedies that they tend to show, still watch if the movies have homosexual protagonists?
Will a whole new audience who never watched these movies before suddenly start watching The Hallmark Channel because of having homosexual characters?

I could not agree more with your comments, to Hell with Hallmark cards. They are over priced to begin with.
IMO for the longest time Hallmark held out as a standard of normalcy for family entertainment. Not anymore.

Go woke,go broke. This company is trying very hard to offend the core of its customer base. You really have to wonder who has taken over their board and do the stockholders really know what is happening to their company.
Now they will have to do without ANY of my business, which mostly consisted of the occasional greeting card. There are other card companies not pushing perversion, and I also make many of my own cards.

Criticism from who ? And why is it important to alter your ways in response to the criticism ? This is the case with every corporation in America today. And I will bet the “criticism” is nothing more than an organized Twitter campaign by a handful of people.
They will import writers from Disney.

I suspect advertisers brought pressure, rather than Hallmark having a change of direction on its own
Was just talking about this last night while seeing commercials for CFA and also demented pedophile Joe on Hallmark last night.
They will see their audience decline!
