Interesting. They don’t care about me, I’m an old white male, not exactly the key demographic. So, they’ll pander, while I watch golf and ignore their silly games. The loss of fans like me won’t hurt them over the short term. However, I won’t be encouraging my grandsons to watch the Cleveland Generic Non-offensives with me. Doesn’t seem like a good plan to keep a fan base?
What do I know? I don’t own a team. I will enjoy watching it all crash down though.

It would be better if they were caving in response. I think many in ownership embrace all this leftist nonsense.
The very rich understand that as a country moves left, the wealthy are relatively safe, and in many cases in a better position. Competition goes away. Just play ball with the party elite, and you’ll be just fine.

He’s representing the vast majority’s feelings in New York.

I just phoned the Reds and asked them if I should expect this racist kneeling at Reds’ games. “Up to each individual player” was the response. POS leftists have to ruin everything. Fifty year love affair with MLB will end this week. There’s always non racist Japanese baseball.
If many other teams do this they better get used to playing games without fans in the stands.

Precisely and it will have the absolute opposite effect. The average baseball fan demographics are moderately conservative beer drinking 30, 40, and 50 year old’s who our pro 2nd ammendment, lean libertarian but have an abiding respect for the traditional and despise the mixing of politics with their beloved sport.
It will start with pay to watch premium packages, then season ticket sales and trickle down to overall stadium attendance. They’re cutting their own throat.
Another bunch of adults who make a living playing a kid’s game that I will not be watching this summer.
