Why is he released? Why is he alive?
The article is a little squirrelly to me. There is no evidence of an actual crime. It says he was admitted to the hospital based on a fantasy letter his wife found. He apparently claims he has killed and raped and molested but there doesn’t appear to be any convictions so, while it is sick and probably dangerous to let him loose, he isn’t (as yet) a death penalty candidate. My guess is some crusading attorney group or social justice group has pressured the state to let him go.
