Donald Trump Jr has boasted on Instagram about his dinner cooked with Goya ingredients, as the row about a boycott of the company rumbles on and his sister Ivanka is accused of violating White House ethics for promoting the products.

On Thursday he said that he had enjoyed a meal made with the produce, which has been subject for the past week to a boycott ever since the company CEO said the country was 'blessed' to have Donald Trump as its leader.

'Just had a great dinner Kimberly prepared,' he said, referring to his girlfriend, former Fox News presenter Kimberly Guilfoyle.

If boycott = Sales Up Bigly, then congratulations, lefties, on your "boycott".

I sometimes wish I could go to the past, show a photo of something in the present, and ask the folks walking around, "What happened that caused the content in this photo?"

If I showed a picture of everyone walking around a Wal-Mart wearing masks, few would have gotten close to being right. If I showed the picture below, NO ONE would have gotten it right.

Eat it all the time... I love Cajun red beans & rice, and fix Cuban pork roast with black beans, onions & yellow rice, and of course chili with pinto beans, and 13 bean soup or navy beans with country ham and thyme, or ham hocks, bay leaves & kale.
They have things like mango nectar and coconut.
Seasonings are a good deal, saving a few bucks a bottle over other brands, and the selection is good from star anise for Asian cooking to garlic and such for BBQ. The Goya guava paste makes a tasty Florida barbeque sauce.

What are the chances I can talk you out of your Cuban paaork roast recipe?

Also, if you cook a lot, don’t buy bottled seasonings. Grow/dehydrating your own is best, but if not, buy them in bulk. 10x cheaper than the bottles. I go to Central Market (DFW area, owned by HEB), and their bulk spice selection is huge. Stuff is $10 a pound, that costs $5 for a 2-3oz bottle. Plus, you can grab the self-fill coffee bags and stock up in bulk!

If you’re not in the Texas area, check around near you, there’s gotta be a store that has bulk spices. Check your fancy food stores, if you’re only getting bulk spices there, it’s much cheaper and higher quality!

My wife and I were watching the news yesterday about the boycott, she was so pissed that she immediately grabbed her laptop and ordered about 200 dollars worth of Goya’s products.

Glad I added extra shelves to the pantry. :)

My wife bought two cases of their black beans yesterday, along with a bunch more of their canned goods (about 200 or more dollars worth), needless to say my “EVERLOVIN” was really pissed when she heard about the boycott on the news.
