In one sense, though, there IS an opportunity for parents here, with the school shutdown; if people are concerned what their children are being “taught” at public school... well, now you have them at home, right now, and have a chance to personally UNDUE a lot of the brainwashing.
For instance, you’re sitting there with your kid doing the online courses (or however they’re doing it); you see something in the course that you know is BS; you have a great opportunity to point out to your child that “this is what SOME people think, and it does not necessarily mean it’s true.”
IOW, you can teach your kid how to discern bullsh*t from fact, and think for themselves... which they’re sure as Hell not being taught in the Indoctrination Centers.
It could be a great opportunity to be seized upon.
Yes...in one sense, there is an opportunity.
I tend to think that most of those parents are already either homeschooling their kids, or, at least VERY involved in the day to day happenings at school.
It’s the MANY others, though, who are now having NO classes, socializing, etc.
