The RINOs were supporting Sessions in this race. Regardless, the race is over and there’s little point in twisting the knife in Sessions after night. He made his mistakes and paid for them. The delay in the primary absolutely devastated his campaign.

Senator Shelby endorsed Sessions. Shelby personally blocked wall funding during conference with the House. If that isn’t RINO nothing is. Sessions was endorsed by other RINOs. I can dig out the old The Hill article if you wish but what is the point?
If Trump loses amnesty is coming next year. A Trump loss means a Dem Senate and no single GOP Senator is going to stop amnesty.
It was important for GOP voters to show the establishment that there is a price to be paid for do-nothingness. Sessions loss tonight might actually stir Graham and Barr to action.

Tuberville won the primary by a couple points after picking up Trump’s endorsement. This run off blow out is about way more than the Trump-Sessions soap opera. Guaranteed. GOP voters are furious at the do-nothing GOP establishment and Sessions paid the price for that.
Jones had ‘kryptonite’ for either guy.
In the case of Tubby, there is the rape episode involving one of his players from the late 90s, and how he only suspended the guy from one game. What Jones and his crew will discover though...the court system charged the player with second-degree rape, and the player agreed to a misdemeanor situation....admitting guilt.
The player? Black. So this will put Jones into a unique position, when the legal system worked in favor of a black, and Jones wants to punish the coach for something that occurred 20 years ago. I don’t think it’ll work well.
