Yes, he contradicted himself in 2016, but he also said the law is the law and they have to go hime. The uniparty/GOPe feint of pretending to be for deportation in what is actually a massive amnesty is a shameful betrayal of conservative voters, and if that is indeed what Trump is up to, he’s no better than the rest of them.

Remember the bill that didn’t pass. The road to citizenship is long: no criminal record... education... employment history... no welfare.... takes at least 7 years... that type of thing. That was a bill Trump supported in the past. I suspect he is going to make it an executive order. As I remember.... Rush supported it.

People need to stop blaming Jared Kushner for everything. This is Trump.

If Trump didn’t like what Kushner was doing, he would have fired him a long time ago.

Once again, reevaluate your understanding of “steps”. Sometimes, building steps is simply a way to abridge walls.

eVerify will eliminate most. Require eVerify for all part and full-time, temp and perm, new AND current workers by all employers and we immediately remove the ability for illegals to work, they will then self-deport. Give employers 90 days to demonstrate compliance, else get hold on their federal employer tax accounts.

Over a million by early 2017 and that doesn’t account their criminal parents and the rest of their families.

If I find a gif for ‘redundancy’ I’ll post it for you.

Meanwhile just read this thread. It isn’t a straw man. Many people want deportations. Others are confounding issues such as social welfare, identity theft (stolen SS numbers etc), jobs for Americans etc. I concede these are all intertwined in many ways and there is nothing wrong with improvement in those areas.

But distill away all the other stuff, what does it come down to? They broke the law. That’s it. They need to make amends for that crime. I think it’s perfectly reasonable to ask; and furthermore I think it will earn respect and trust in so doing.

What has Kushner ever accomplished beyond marrying well? He actually looks homosexual to me.

he kept reading that snake poem in 2016 and it gave me an uneasy feeling, and comments like this Daca - citizenship one, make me get the uneasy feeling Trump is part snake.

Even Reagan had am amnesty. You just can’t deport 30 million people with ties to this country and who are often hardworking types, unlike the snowflakes livivg in their parents basement.

Asinine is the GOPe acquiescence to the permanent loss of CA, NM, CO, and NV for cheap-labor reasons while peddling the fantasy that their precious third world migrants are going to vote majority conservative, ever, anyplace.

"This is another major reason that the chain-migration cuts are so vital. Without changes, an amnesty for the Dreamers is an amnesty for their parents, too — the ones who chose to come here illegally. I estimate that each Dreamer put on the path to citizenship will probably sponsor an average of two additional relatives — in all likelihood, one or both parents and possibly siblings who are here illegally or living abroad. Without other cuts, a Dreamer amnesty would cause a huge increase in legal immigration that could dwarf the size of the initial amnesty, as happened in the past."
