Are you talking about the Georgia State Defense Force? If you are that is not a militia group.

The best advice my father gave me when I left for college in 1961. Has served me well.
That is being discussed, and actually it was the main point that prompted the discussion: the attitude has to change to get people in. To move and lead people, you need officers.
Actually their missions would fall under a militia. But no, that wasn’t them. They were 3%ers.
The starting point is to acknowledge there is no 100% constitutional militia as given to us by the Founders. None. There certainly are militia organizations that are more palatable for elected officials and a broader swath of public opinion. But the finger pointing of what is and is not a constitutional militia is ridiculous.
The ONE thing all the small private militias have that the Natl Guard doesn’t, is that they incur no debt on the taxpayer, as it should be. Cheap homeland security, as it should be. The Guard is now more of a jobs program like the Army. Our founders wanted none of that. We pay 13 billion annually just for salary for the Guard. Just the salary.
We are getting ripped because then they don’t get called out to squash a rebellion, and we already paid for the service. How odd.
Once we all intellectually ascend to that proposition, then it becomes a matter of “How do we regain it?” And that may not even be possible in today’s climate.
I do appreciate your questions.
I have your book! It has been helpful. Is it still available? I’d like to get copies for some friends.
Keep a bug out bag handy.
Thanks sir. I can’t see any other path because the militia MUST gain its legitimacy from the community it serves. That starts with helping vet a constitutional sheriff. I wrote an 8 page plan on getting there and it is being discussed in militia circles. In fact, the militia leader giving the speech I posted is implementing it right now.
I am glad that you have enjoyed my book. I certainly put heart and soul into it, and it is all original work by the way (many these days are copy and paste jobs).
I will have the website up for it by Sunday, and I will send you a link to the site. And Ill make sure that you get your order in before I do the pricing crease (the price has been the same for six years now, so I thought I probably should bump it up a little bit.)

Thank you so much, I appreciate it. I’ve used it to figure out how much Clorox I needed to use for my well, first aid stuff and the growing food sections. Also section 12.5 was helpful.
You sure brought back memories. In 1959 my Dad bought at auction for $11,000.00, an old deteriorating plantation house built in 1856, including 93 acres. He had grand dreams of using the sweat equity of four sons to remodel it but was only able to install bathrooms and refinish one room. The problem was he was not rich.
But the memory you brought back was the well that he had drilled. After about a year it had become tainted so he did the Clorox trick. Kool-aid was real popular with a family of young kids. The Clorox bleached out all of the food coloring with every flavor. For weeks and maybe months we drank grape Kool-aid that was an odd yellow-green color and smelled like a swimming pool.
I’m glad the founding fathers did not think that.
Please include me as well.

...the founding fathers...
_______________________________
The Founding Fathers whose statues are being destroyed? The Founding Fathers whose names are being removed from the public square and whose writings are being deemed hate speech? The Founding Fathers whose ultimate memorial, the Constitution, is today a weightless piece of paper marked for cancellation at the earliest opportunity?
If the Founders had remained anonymous/pseudonymous, would the mob have this plethora of easy targets? Would they be forced to debate and confront facts and ideals instead of cancelling individuals?
The ideals that are the foundation of America as founded are straight in the crosshairs, exemplified by named historical individuals. Just because they lasted over 250 years before the Jacobins successfully came for them does not obviate the advice to not make yourself easily available to the tyrants, if at all possible.
If the Founders could have looked ahead with certainty instead of relying on informed intimations, would they have retained their initial secrecy? Many did write under pseudonyms and only worked behind the scenes until the ultimate battles were taking place. Many signed as the victors who stayed anonymous during the battles.
Our Founders fought one monarch and one nation state. They had assistance from around the Western world. We are fighting a battle against shadowy global cabals, with only a publicly known figureheads. We have few allies with any real world power and everyone, every thought, every action, no matter how trivial or distant in time, is today used to bludgeon individuals of diverse belief into compliance with tyrannically merciless foes intent on eradicating 90% of the humans alive today or subjugating them to the ever-changing dictates of the current & ever-changing establishment. All of this done with technology the Founders could not have imagined.
Op sec and membership in The Church of the Low Profile are highly advised to us all at this point in time. The oppressors are not simply after visible leaders. It is instructive that they, themselves, are decentralized, diffuse and often masked. They can and do cancel their own publicly identifiable members at all levels whenever they deem it beneficial.
I stand by my father’s advice.
