Unlike the Washington Redskins, the Atlanta Braves will not consider changing their team name. Though, the organization is discussing whether to keep the traditional Tomahawk Chop.
The Atlanta Braves honor, support and value the Native American community. That will never change, the Braves said in a statement.
However, as the Athletics Ken Rosenthal reports, the team is not yet decided about whether to keep the Tomahawk Chop.

Maybe the Braves can virtue signal by changing their name to the Atlanta Berdaches.
If they change the Tomahawk Chop, it should be to “The Tofu Chop” because it will symbolize soft, squishy and putrid.
He IS a man and I dont see what your problem is. He loves the Braves and wont like to see the name changed and he has several of the foam tomahawks from games hes gone to.

Yeah, I remember when Prime came to Hotlanta to play. He was a good CF for them and hit well, super speed and base stealing.
