The volleys started when Carlson, in a nearly 14-minute segment, included Duckworth’s answer on CNN over the weekend when she was asked whether she also supported removing monuments honoring historical figures in U.S. history who were slave owners, such as George Washington.
In her response, which went on to criticize President Donald Trump’s recent appearance at Mount Rushmore, Duckworth said there should be a national dialogue on the issue at some point. When pressed, Duckworth said, “I think we should listen to everybody.”
On his show Monday night, Carlson noted that Duckworth is among the contenders to be Democrat Joe Biden’s running mate this fall and criticized her call for a national dialogue on the historical monuments issue.
“You’re not supposed to criticize Tammy Duckworth in any way because she once served in the military,” Carlson said. “Most people just ignore her. But when Duckworth does speak in public, you’re reminded what a deeply silly and unimpressive person she is.”
“A national dialogue? Please. They’re not looking for a colloquy. What they want is a soliloquy. We speak, you shut up and listen ... it’s long been considered out of bounds to question a person’s patriotism. It’s a very strong charge and we try not ever to make it. But in the face of all of this, the conclusion can’t be avoided. These people actually hate America.”

I have to and that’s why I said it.
Unless you are a patriot. Then you are fair game, including intrusive FBI investigations over made-up charges all backed up by fair-minded "non-partisan" judges whose patriotism cannot be questioned.
Seeing her, the phrase "Lipstick on a pig" comes to mind.
If someone calls you a bigot, I tell them they're using that as a tactic because they hate America and can't debate!
That Duckworth can’t come flat out and say, “no, we’re not going to remove statues of the nation’s founder , George Washington”, is telling.
Duckworth was recruited as a Democratic candidate by Rahm Emanuel and US Senator Richard Durbin. When she failed in her first campaign for US Congress, the Democrats secured her an agency appointment running the Illinois Department of Veteran Affairs. For someone who constantly uses her military service to promote herself, Duckworth did a lousy job as an administrator: she was sued by several of her employees in Illinois and got poor reviews when Obama appointed her to a sinecure in the national VA. She finally got elected to Congress in a gerrymandered district created for her after a remap.
Every time she opines on a political subject, she exposes herself as a dunce. She has no ideas and depends upon regurgitating Democratic talking points.
Agreed and I believe what he did may have been from a principled perspective. However with his decision he became a traitor.

If being critical of Duckworth is out of bounds because she served in the military and was injured....then why in the hell is it okay to be critical of George Washington ??
Did he not serve in the military, did he not lead an army against the British, did he not help found this country ??
Was George Washington a flawed individual ?? Perhaps, but he also did great things for this country....if he can be criticized and his statues can be taken down, the Tammy Duckworth is fair game....

That is what this whole situation boils down to.

It doesn’t mean she’s a good representative of the people that would elect her, and it doesn’t mean that she has the skills and knowledge that our political leaders need to have.
Tucker is going very strongly after her, almost goading her. This might either elevate or destroy her VP chances.
Duckworth is a lib. That sums everything up and does not like to be exposed.
The great deception is on, folks. The Left, with its complicit “enemedia” is pushing forth its agenda of darkness. When you come across articles or news reports of how the Left is characterizing what is going on in this country, you have no choice but to realize they are blind, they are not us, they are the deceiving and the deceived. If you find yourself trying to have a discussion with someone, a friend, a co-worker, a family member and feel as if you are simply unable to get them to even listen, you must realize that you are dealing with someone who has fallen for the deception hook, line and sinker. You may as well try to convince the wall to grow a door or a window.
This is more than a philosophical battle that is being waged. This is spiritual. The forces of darkness are gathered together and moving over our nation. If you find yourself on the Right side of this argument you are either saved or God is trying to speak to you to become so. Take a moment to consider your eternal state and begin asking Him for wisdom.
The great deception is well underway and the Lord, in Matt. 24:4 where He was talking to His disciples of the end of the age warned: “Take heed that no man deceive you...”
Maybe she was an officer like John Kerry was an officer?

He applied for 3 purple hearts during that time, one for a scratch requiring a band-aid.
He ran like a coward from a firefight, leaving one of his men in the water- another boat had to stop WHILE IN THE SAME FIREFIGHT and rescue the guy.
The dumbocrats called revealing those facts “swiftboating” as a derogatory term.
If revealing facts is ‘swiftboating’ then we need a hell of a lot more of it.
