He was simply paraphrasing George Santayana. Those who do not remember history are condemned to relive it.

Again, the Propaganda Ministry twisted what he said. The implication was he was speaking about slavery, he was speaking about living under the tyranny of the King; if we abandon the Founder’s principles we will again be subject to tyranny.
Can’t remember if it was the late Earl Nightingale but someone said if the wealthy, successful people had their money taken away or lost, within a short time they would go from the bottom up to the top again because they had drive and the goal oriented lifestyle to be a success again.
That actually happened to auto industry pioneers and others. Even Donald Trump had bankruptcies followed by major comebacks.
Opposite is lack of character and self- control by major lottery winners who go from multimillionaires back to broke. Also boxers. And rock stars. Sometimes hundreds of millions passed through their hands and then “cannot afford his attorney.”
BLM is Communist. Communism is slavery. Never forget that. The only difference is that instead of being owned by an individual, you are owned by the state.

Columbus and Theodore Roosevelt had no connection whatever to slavery.
The Confederate generals were memorialized for being heroes of the Confederacy, not for being proponents of slavery.
I am a Southerner and grew up in the South. Slavery was never ever held up as a regrettable loss. When people think about the Confederacy, they never ever think of slavery. It is an identity. In this age of multiculturalism, all cultures are supposed to be revered except the Southern one.
But back to that quote. It reveals a stunning ignorance of history and blackhearted reporting of events.
All we will hear until November is white supremacy.
Grown black men represent about 5% of the total population of the country.
