“Yes it is a simple division: Law and Order vs. Anarchy. Which side are people on? “

I actually see the choice as individual liberty versus control of individual behavior by a centralized oppressive government.

The left is very clear in opposing fundamental rights. Free speech with which they disagree is now defined as “hate speech” and is being punished by government, employers and institutions. Freedom of religion is under relentless attack, particularly Christianity. Tech companies, facilitated by government, actively suppress free speech and the free press in cyberspace. The second amendment is one Supreme Court vote away from being eviscerated. Perhaps not even one vote if Justice Roberts holds to his recent voting pattern. Private property rights are quickly going by the wayside as government stands by while mobs plunder and destroy. The rule of law is more often than not administered selectively based on the race, political power, and wealth of the accused. The right of people to be secure in their homes against unreasonable searches and seizures is violated daily and willfully by spying government agencies and tech companies.
We are in a societal and governmental crisis. The leaders of our institutions should be speaking out and taking action to preserve our republic. I hear and see the leaders of the left in academia, religion, politics, big business, media, and even the military aggressively speaking out and supporting the mob. With very few exceptions, other leaders are silent while the mob rampages daily destroying lives and property. Our institutions are in crisis because their leaders are actively working to destroy them or are in hiding.

It is election year. Once again people are being told to vote Republican to keep the liberals and their mob at bay. The problem this year is the mob is running wild and I don’t see “the Republicans”, with the exception of President Trump, doing anything to protect the Republic, society and culture. Their silence and absence from the battlefield is clear evidence they are not in the fight.

Patrick Henry framed the choice we face on March 23, 1775 saying, “Give me liberty or give me death.” Unless something changes soon it appears the majority of GOP politicians have made their choice. Silence can be as effective as shouted words in communicating a message. The mob certainly has noticed and runs with no fear.

Yes, my way or the highway. Of course, this whole thing could be turned around overnight were we to suddenly have an actual media, not an arm of the left.
