The Northern Mexican state of Sonora — which borders Arizona and a small portion of New Mexico — is toughening border restrictions this weekend as both regions experience a surge in coronavirus cases.
In anticipation of the Fourth of July weekend, the state government announced plans to place filters at Sonora's main border cities to turn back tourists and those traveling for other nonessential purposes.
“We are all going to be on alert at this time to prevent them from coming, whether they are Mexicans living in the U.S., Americans or those who want to come to spend the weekend and put a greater burden on us regarding COVID,” Senora Gov. Claudia Pavlovich said in a statement to the Arizona Daily Star.
Sonoran Health Secretary Enrique Clausen said on Twitter Wednesday that he intended to seek more restrictive, temporary controls for nonessential travel. Clausen has himself tested positive for the virus.
“I will request the State Health Council to ask the Mexican Health and Foreign Affairs Council to temporarily close the United States border to Sonora to avoid and reduce COVID-19 infections,” he said.

Agricultural workers are considered "essential" in the United States.
There is a large pool of people in Mexico who can come to the U.S. legally and bring their Covid-19 cases to Arizona.
Mexico does what the United States can’t do.......again.
Provide a safer place for their own people.

Why not try to kill he virus the moment it shows up, neither does it matter how many times it mutates as long as it is a LIPID COATED VIRUS , BHT will attack the lipid coating and by doing so deactivate the virus.
If you don’t want to worry about infectious LIPID COATED viruses, such as the corona virus, swine flu, herpes etc…..there is always BHT, one of the best kept secrets…..
BHT (butylatedhydroxytouluene) which disables most lipid coated viruses including the corona virus, influenza, shingles and herpes amongst many others. Suggested starting dosage is anywhere from 250mg to 450mg can be doubled for several days, but suggested to remain in the 500mg range or below. For better absorption it is recommended to dissolve BHT first in oil, olive oil will do nicely and to speed up dissolving a few seconds in a microwave or set the container with the oil solution in a hot water bath. Why dissolving in oil first? BHT will only dissolve in either oil or alcohol and by going this route it will speed up absorption and you get by using smaller amounts of it.
One suggested way is to take 200ml (milliliter) of olive oil and dissolve 18 gm of BHT, or 277.782 grains if you using a powder scale used for re-loading. Each tsp. depending on its size should give you approx. 450 mg of BHT. It is better to be pro-active by taking BHT, even so BHT will still kill the virus but it cannot cure any of the other problems which the virus may have created. I hope they come up with a vaccine, but would not hold my breath.

What is interesting to know is that quite a few years ago a company took out a patent on BHT for its LIPID COATED VIRUS killing abilities what should tell you something. In the meantime this patent has expired and no longer can any money be made from it, so pharmaceutical companies won’t even go near it, besides this product is inexpensive. Pavlovich was born in Magdalena de Kino, Sonora, to Miguel Pavlovich Sugich and Alicia Arellano Tapia. Her paternal family is of Montenegrin descent.
The expats are coming home in droves from Mexico for the health care. And Mexicans themselves are coming over the border as well, running from a virus on the loose. But the deaths are very low now. The fatality rate is down to 0.1% now over the past few months. We are far better at stopping fatalities now. The corona virus is down to flu numbers.
So, they can stop movement across the border if they really want to?
