There is a rise in Coronavirus cases because our testing is so massive and so good, far bigger and better than any other country. This is great news, but even better news is that death, and the death rate, is DOWN. Also, younger people, who get better much easier and faster!

Test results take four or so days. Young twits who are sick for a day or so, go out and get tested, feel better, no results yet, go out and infect a hundred people, result positive. Exponential increase. Rinse and repeat.
Media co muring stories about how the numbers don’t say what we think they say or can see for ourselves that they say in 3, 2, 1. . .

Thebest kits are flawed, likely sabatoged. Anyone testing positive should demand to retest, especially the high profile sports teams.

When you explain to someone how the numbers work for “new cases,” it is a great illustration of fake news.
Wondering what constitutes a “case”...
There are several tests that give results in thirty minutes. I know—I’ve been testing myself and my staff every two weeks.
Testing cannot be the entire story. Increased testing hasn’t resulted in increased cases in every state. Some states continue to drop in case numbers — single digits to none on a daily basis. There is some truth that increased cases represent a real phenomenon of more young people (under 35) being infected and resulting from protests/riots, more socialization and border crossings. Most of these cases will have minimal to no health consequences for the infected. However, a flattening or even a modest increase in the number of the deaths/day may be seen over the next few weeks, as deaths lag cases by about 2 weeks.
I think there are three stories here:
First, the tests are flawed.
Secondly, the number of people who have been exposed and processed the virus is probably much higher than we know, despite the faulty "false positive" tests.
Thirdly, that despite the high numbers of positives, either as a result of junk tests, but probably as a result of the highly communicable nature of the virus, the death rate continues to fall.
Ergo, it's just the Flu Bro.
I’m watching this play out via dear friends who went to a wedding last weekend. So far, the infected passed it on to two people I know. They were all abiding by quarantine rules until recently. The person who was sick should have quarantined until results were back. He’s young and apparently did not tell anybody.

I read recently that even what they’re testing for is suspect. I would not be surprised to find out if whomever approved of the “tests” went with whatever would produce the largest percentage of positives.

No...testing can be instantaneous..depending on the testing equipment...there are portable test sets the instantaneous results...did you not watch any Trump Pence briefings
