If you even have a passing interest in motorsports go to a short track. 1/4 mile dirt and paved ovals are everywhere and have events all spring and summer.

Hell, I live in Alabama. My next door neighbor has a stock car, and a semi to haul it with. And they guy next to him has one, as well. They both have two story detached garages with all the tools to service them with. Tracks are everywhere down here.
