No mention in the article of co-use with zinc. Some patients did have HCQ in combination with azithromycin which according to the results helped only slightly. And their conclusion goes against what many doctors who have had success with HCQ+Zn believe, i.e. early application of HCQ+Zn is best:

“Currently, the drug should be used only in hospitalized patients with appropriate monitoring, and as part of study protocols, in accordance with all relevant federal regulations,” Dr. Zervos said.

Egads, Doctor! Save your sick patients by using the combination.

Right, they’re not using zinc. And they’re not prescribing it early when it can do the most good. In fact, if everyone were given HCQ as a preventative for a month at most, we could wipe out this pandemic. But apparently, there’s no desire for that.
