Well it’s a little more complicated then that when one has a history of mental issues. So while you are technically correct, it’s more complicated then just the simple answer you provide. He had been clean for 8 years. The lockdown and isolation provided the trigger to seek relief that he got from his work and social interactions, from the alternative he knew..
