CHOP gets the chop: Barricades at Seattle's cop-free zone are torn down as police move in to reclaim the 'war zone' a day after the second deadly shooting at the camp when its own security shot dead a black 16-year-old

Seattle's 'occupied' protest zone was dismantled Tuesday a day after the second deadly shooting at the camp when its own security shot dead a black teenager. Demonstrators have occupied several blocks around the Seattle Police Department’s East Precinct and a park for about two weeks. Police had abandoned the precinct following clashes with protesters calling for an end to police brutality. But by Tuesday morning crews were working to pull down the barriers.

In any group of 1,000, you will have 250 lazy people who won’t pull their weight no matter what (short of a bullet to the head). Read the history of the Mayflower and Plymouth colony for a good example of the fast transformation of productivity when people are working for their own benefit on their own land.

I lived in Red China for the better part of a year in the mid 70s. The collective is not a pretty sight.

You simply cannot create a “New Man” because it is so antithetical to deeply ingrained human nature.

A simple question is never answered by leftists: “why didn’t the amazing advances in technology, products and services the past 250 years originate in totalitarian regimes”? Even the hilariously stupid CHAZ “garden” provides proof of collective laziness and abuse of those who do the work.

What do you expect when a rapper declares himself a “warlord” with the tacit approval of Mayor Dirtbin?

Bingo! BtD wins the prize of the day! (to be named later).

What was the goal of letting the immature kiddies have their little utopian fantasy for a few weeks?

To tempt Trump into sending in the troops. For that to happen, though, (1) the Mayor has to agree (she did), (2) the Governor has to opt out (he did), (3) and there has to be sufficient provocation, such as bodies on the street (there were).

I would not be in the least surprised to learn that the outrage stories at the Seattle Times, NYT, and Washington Post, were already written and awaiting the event. “Trump Overreacts, People Die,” that sort of thing.

That was the reason for the Mayor’s “Summer of Love” idiocy and the insistence on the part of the media for minimizing the danger and criminality within the Zone.

It means, stated simply, that the Left is more than willing to sacrifice innocent lives for a political smear campaign. A surprising number of otherwise intelligent people would consider that an exaggeration, but it isn’t.

The idea was to try to force Trump to make a move with some federal force or issue an order of some type.

He didn’t take the bait so they are losing instead of gaining points. So dismantle and move on to the next ploy....which is sounding like it might be a ‘new’ Chinese swine flu.

Hence the item requiring all participants to agree as to the work needing done - the extension is that they would also do the work. The flip side is that people that don’t agree (and don’t work) would have to be ejected from the group, which is what happened in the kibbutzes. It’s also why it can’t work as a governmental system for a nation.

I did say that it was an extremely limited set of circumstances in which it could work.
