True story, Exxonmobil, Baytown Texas, big turnaround, maybe 1500 on both day and night shift. Some bored pipefitter made a noose and hung it over a scaffold. Job shut down and investigated, went back to work. Next night several nooses found the next morning. Job shut down and FBI called in. Never did pin it on anyone but they gave the riggers hell about the loops on the end of their taglines, accused them of making nooses. What a week that was.
Another hoax. Ginning up “systemic racism” that doesn’t exist.
How come nooses are considered racist? More whites have been hanged than blacks.

Is this a joke? It follow the standard playbook to a T. Rope/noose in black locker. Chief issues declaration of outrage. Mayor “disgusted and angry.” Mental health consultant called because of psychological trauma.
In a week or two it’s found to be a hoax. Perp is not charged. Chief says nothing. Mayor silent. Mental health consultant doesn’t cancel bill.
Those 17 Special Agents down in Talladega have serious noose experience now. The “Noose Squad” is going to rack up some serious Frequent Flier miles.
Maybe they are like arsonists — they are calling buddies all over the country asking them to set up fake noose hoaxes that they can go investigate.
