THE HAGUE Police in The Hague said they detained some 400 people on Sunday after demonstrators refused to leave a protest against the Dutch governments social-distancing measures put in place to halt the spread of the coronavirus.
Several thousand protesters had gathered in the Malieveld area in The Hague, close to the Dutch seat of government, even though the rally had been banned by the municipality.
We have detained some 400 people today. A large number of them have been since let go, the police said on Twitter.

Tried to find out how many arrests there have been from 3 weeks of daily BLM ‘protests’ (attended by thousands) in the Netherlands. Came up with perhaps 5 (five).
The boot only ever comes down on one side, seemingly no matter where you go.
The Dutch can get a bit pissy when crowds fail to disperse.
But did the police arrive from nowhere on horseback?
Perhaps they recognize communist street agitation when they see it.
They didn't like the drug checkpoints. Contrast.
Theres two things I cant stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other peoples cultures, and the Dutch!
The boot comes down on those who ask permission. Quit asking permission.
