President Donald Trump isnt planning on imminently sending federal assets to reclaim the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, Wash. despite repeatedly threatening to do so, he told the Daily Caller in an exclusive Oval Office interview.
Trump spoke with the Caller for more than an hour Friday evening on a variety of issues, including racial inequality, coronavirus, advertising boycotts, John Bolton, China, and the 2020 election.
In recent days, Trump has urged Washington Gov. Jay Inslee to deploy National Guard troops to retake CHAZ and said that he himself will take care of it if Inslee fails to act. The president said Monday that he had discussed the situation with Attorney General Bill Barr. When asked by the Caller what Barr is advising him to do, POTUS answered, right now, I think its great sitting back and watching this catastrophe.
The Caller asked, if he indeed isnt currently planning on intervening, why continue with the tweets and statements indicating he would do so.
Well, because we can do it anytime we want, Trump answered.

Tucker Carlson was correct:
And if it's so "great" to sit back and do noting as Western civilization and the law is torn down, why did he say this:
That is exactly what I’ve said. Let these socialists and anarchists stew in their own juices.
Never interfere when an enemy is impaling themselves.
No he wasn't. Trump is rewarding blue state governors and mayors fro their inaction. Who ya gonna call?
Kurt Schlichter agrees with the President:
I am sure that like the rest of us Trump knows it is a disgusting display. He certainly pissed them off saying it was great to watch them. What I take it to mean is finally theyre having their temper tantrum which has been building all these years and hopefully it will burn itself out.
“right now, I think its great sitting back and watching this catastrophe. -— I hope he didn’t say this.
It would be a bigger disaster if the National Guard went in and it would start this all over the Country. Don’t fool yourself, he knows exactly what he is doing. Soon, the people in that area are going to demand action from their elected officials. That is the way to do it.
right now, I think its great sitting back and watching this catastrophe.
He may think that, but it’s better not to say it.
And taxpayers will be saddled with the bills to clean up this mess.
Kurt and the President are both _very_ smart—and I totally agree with them on this one.
Stupid should hurt.
Seattle taxpayers, maybe WA state taxpayers, as long as they are not bailed out by the feds.
Leftist are eating their own. They must see, taste, and feel their own Frankenstein turn against them. That’s the only way to change their hearts.
Now it's "great" to see the chaos spread and go unpunished?
I refuse to hop on that mad bandwagon.
When you issue a threat to use force, you better be prepared to act on it.
If I were and Antifa or BLM thug, I would be laughing.

Exactly. They’re going to demand action. They’re not going to get action. Maybe THEN they’ll realize the Democrats are NOT on their side and NOT keep voting them into office decade after decade. Given that and the highly negative image of Federal troops going in there and wiping them all out, I think Trump’s made the right call.
“Kurt and the President are both _very_ smartand I totally agree with them on this one.”
I agree 100%. He is ready to move in when requested by the mayor or governor.
“If I were and Antifa or BLM thug, I would be laughing.”
They are laughing. Trump says it’s not a game then sits backs and ‘laughs’??
Wondering why the Insurrection Act?
Aren’t all 50 states under a National Emergency?
Doesn’t he pretty much own the NG right now?
