Since tickets are free, I fail to see how this ploy had a major impact on the crowd. I see several factors which reduced the draw, not the least of which was the threat of ANTIFA violence. People tend to not go where they might have to shoot their way out. Drawing 10,000 or so people to a rally today is no mean feat.

Covid `19. I would be very hesitant to go anyplace where I will be in a crowd of that many people right now. I hope the attendees don't contract this thing.

I think concern about catching the disease is probably the biggest factor.
