The confidential Facebook memorandum explicitly stated: “Priority may be given to H-1B applicants from China and Korea to foster larger communities of diverse workers at Facebook.” However, when asked for comment, Facebook adamantly opposed the authenticity then refused to answer any additional questions.

If it was truly about cultural diversity, they would have also mentioned American citizen minorities as being a priority for hiring. They did not, ergo it’s about their bottom line and not about diversity.
It’s funny Facebook is worried about bad publicity from this. By the standards of our time, they just have to answer any questioner with “Black Live Matter, b*tch!” and the discussion will come to a mandatory end. /s

It’s like when the Houston Mayor and Police Chief said that rumors of a city lockdown in March were fake and they were investigating who was spreading the false rumors for criminal prosecution. All of this a day before the city got locked down.
I was denied a position at Facebook as a corporate trainer. The mainly Indian panel said since I dodn’t have a TOEFL score, I am ineligible. I was a f’in TOEFL examiner at one time for gods-sake.
