LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — At least four Walmart stores are closed in Little Rock due to protests, according to Walmart.
“We’re monitoring this situation closely and will continue closing stores as a safety precaution for our customers and associates. We recognize the important role we play in the Little Rock community and plan to reopen stores at an appropriate time," said John Forrest Ales with communications in a press release on Sunday.
Those stores are not in minority neighborhoods.

Christy Walton and the rest of the clan are as liberal as anyone can get. As in, they’re liberal and love talking about and donating to all the liberal causes, but because they’re some of the richest people in the world, their wealth insulates them from all the consequences of what they support. They could care less about those stores or the employees.
Much like the owners of all the sports teams that will start to die a slow death, it isn’t the owners that are going to suffer.
And they just built a new addition with a Popeye’s restaurant.
Money is going right into democratic coffers money NOT going into communities what a racket, STILL keeping communities in failing schools, crumbling neighborhoods, very few stores and businesses, these bastards have some nerve taking money donated for the communities to keep themselves in power!! What the heel is the matter with black people??
Tomorrow I’ll head over to the China Tool Store [Harbor Freight]. The adjacent Walmart there [halfway between the ‘hood and a Peoples’ Republic] has apparently closed.
Not really sure why, though my wife stopped going there a year or two back.
If the product is stolen, it doesn’t hit the inventory system for re-order until the next physical inventory of that department. Thus no new product will be shipped to fill the shelves. Welcome to modern computerized inventory systems.
Once the physical inventory issue is reconciled, they’ll stock it again. Rinse and repeat the above.
At some point, the system will probably decide “hey, we’re not making any money on this product” and quit carrying it.
I suspect in the not too distant future we’re gonna see food shortages everywhere. And eventually, the anarchists will start targeting the power grid.
I already know that - I work in IT and I’ve talked to some big box retailer IT personnel about this sort of thing over the years.
They may short circuit this process and just never restock if their entire store inventory disappears without being resold. That’s happened at some Targets and Walmarts in crappy areas of Dallas.
