President Trump said Tuesday that the elderly man caught in a viral video being pushed to the ground by Buffalo cops “could be an ANTIFA provocateur,” suggesting the incident was a “set up” by the band of far-left militants.
“Buffalo protester shoved by Police could be an ANTIFA provocateur. 75 year old Martin Gugino was pushed away after appearing to scan police communications in order to black out the equipment,” the president said in a tweet.
“I watched, he fell harder than was pushed. Was aiming scanner. Could be a set up?” Trump added.

The Buffalo police ought to go on the offense on this one. They should charge the protester with all the applicable violations they can. Also, never apologize for knocking him down. That shows weakness.
I hope they took his phone into evidence to see what he was up to and who he was communicating with.
Not only that, but he was so kind offering to return the lost officer’s police helmet.
Something tells me that there is an extremely high probability that 75 year old Martin Gugino was a 25 year old Martin Gugino participating in the Race and Vietnam Riots in 1970.

American Thinker did a detailed analysis of the fall. There also is video of the man laughing and joking with EMT personnel as he’s being loaded into an ambulance.
The press will be all over him on this and that’s just what he wants. My guess is that they now have the evidence.

I agree. Don’t be the one to say it, even if it’s true... which I did think that the thing he was doing with the device was very odd. I am sure he feels fiercely that no one can get the word out like he can, but the look just isn’t good sometimes when you need to get some demographics back into your camp in November.

These ANTIFA types don’t exist in a vacuum. There is a deep and well-established support network on college campuses that has been operating for years. Bill Barr needs to put down the bagpipes and begin the perp walks of professors who have been providing material support. TODAY!

Better response would have been: “Let’s not rush to judgment before the facts are in and the cops’ side of the story has been told.”
