A Pennsylvania man faces federal charges after authorities said he left a backpack full of explosive devices last week in downtown Pittsburgh, one of many U.S. cities where massive protests have taken place in recent days. Matthew Michanowicz, 52, was caught on surveillance camera planting the camouflage backpack under some trees at the busy PNC Plaza last Sunday, prosecutors said in a news release on Saturday.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the nihilist from Kyrgyzstan in the Russian Federation, kind of set the bar for street terrorism when, with his brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, they set the pressure cooker bombs at the Boston Marathon a few years ago. This is just a reprise of that tactic.

It perfectly fits the pattern. Explosives left in plain sight but not a real device. I am surprised the permanent government didn't stage at least one bombing during the pro criminal protests and leave bread crumbs to tie it to ‘white racist Trump supporters’.

She was questioned but never charged and lives in her Rhode Island childhood home with her daughter.
