Police Groups Begin To Distance Themselves From Radicalized Biden

resumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden has made it clear that he is no longer on the side of law and order as national unrest continues to rage.

Biden's excuse-making for violent rioters and his decision to be the centerpiece of next week's nationally-televised George Floyd spectacle in Houston is a message to police that like most Democrats, he no longer has their back.

With the radical idea of defunding the nation's cops now gaining traction and Biden's campaign desperate to hold onto the black vote after his "you ain't really black" gaffe two weeks ago, lunchbucket Joe has horrified law enforcement allies with his embrace of such radicalism.

And it is costing him dearly with police organizations that have supported him and are now being forced to reassess that support as Biden's rhetoric increasingly comes to mimic the talking points from Black Lives Matter.

In a meeting with black community leaders last week, Barack Obama's second banana vowed to address phantom institutional racism within the nation's police forces and said that he would establish a federal police oversight board in his first 100 days if elected.

Biden's cutting and running on police unions after decades of support has left many scratching their head including the executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations who said:

“He kept moving left and fell off the deep end...it seems in his old age, for whatever reason, he’s writing a sad final chapter when it comes to supporting law enforcement.”

Biden may be winning the activists over but at the same time he is losing the cops.

Via Politico, "Police groups break with Biden":

Joe Biden has long prided himself on being a union-friendly Democrat with a good relationship with rank-and-file cops.

But Biden’s call for more national policing reforms and oversight in the wake of the death of George Floyd — and the perception that he hasn’t shown enough solidarity with law enforcement amid the ensuing nationwide protests and unrest — have created a fissure with law enforcement groups, leaving many who once supported him frustrated by what they regard as political posturing by their one-time ally.

“Clearly, he’s made a lot of changes the way candidates do during the primary process, but he kept moving left and fell off the deep end,” said Bill Johnson, executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations, the umbrella organization for Police Benevolent Association chapters.

“For Joe Biden, police are shaking their heads because he used to be a stand-up guy who backed law enforcement,” Johnson said. “But it seems in his old age, for whatever reason, he’s writing a sad final chapter when it comes to supporting law enforcement.”

As the two presidential candidates confront one of the most racially combustible moments in recent history, they are taking decidedly different tacks.

President Donald Trump has issued a full-throated call to restore “law and order” — even threatening military action to beat back violent protests. Biden has tiptoed around the defense of law enforcement, focusing instead on the need for reforms amid deep-seated racial disparities plaguing the nation.

With his continued pandering to black voters and his opportunistic new stance against the police, the former vice president is abandoning the support of America's police at a time when they are surrounded and under siege from politicians, the media and the mob.

President Trump quickly moved to capitalize on Biden's shift against police.

Per the POTUS:

"The Radical Left Democrats new theme is “Defund the Police”. Remember that when you don’t want Crime, especially against you and your family. This is where Sleepy Joe is being dragged by the socialists. I am the complete opposite, more money for Law Enforcement! #LAWANDORDER"

Whose position is more likely to appeal to law-abiding Americans in the suburbs who are rightly terrified that Democrat politicians will be holding back police at the same time that they will be invading gated communities?

Not buying this. The cop unions will give big money to Biden and try to force their members to vote RAT.

True for most unions. The leaders are without exception rats to the core while the rank and file not so much.

That they would support Biden as well as the democrat party in the first place is telling.

Union leaders can endorse candidates and urge their members to vote a certain way.

But how can they force their members the vote for Biden? In the privacy of the voting booth police officers are going to vote as they wish. If pressured and questioned they can say they voted for Biden even though they really voted for Trump.

Biden may have once been somewhat reasonable. He no longer is. But the image we began to see on TV starting 1 week ago is a finely polished, edited, made-for-TV image, with heavy makeup and editing, so we don’t see the first 20 cuts where he forgot where he was.

The dems desperately want him elected. They know that the public will not vote for him as he really is, so they created a false image. But all eyes will be on his black female VP choice. There will be unending specials on TV. All the rag magazines will have her picture on the cover. Talking hag shows will interview her. Moochelle Obammy will endorse her. It will be total obsession, as the networks are in the habit of doing.

It’s going to be bowser. This weekend’s riot will be in DC, and she is sponsoring it as mayor. She totally hates Trump, and so she will be the choice because the two crises of 2020 are both about dumping Trump.
