Friday, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) weighed in on a poll showing 74% of Americans see George Floyds death while in Minneapolis police custody as a sign of a broader problem in the country.
Booker said on MSNBCs Morning Joe that black Americans have a consciousness that they do not yet have equality under the law.
By the time we witnessed that Rodney King verdict where somebody was so viciously, savagely beaten, I just remember just losing it. I was in the streets marching peacefully and felt such anger, Booker recalled. And the challenge is if I pulled out that column that I wrote, it could be written today. But there is a difference, as you said. There is a consciousness thats growing in our country that we do not yet have equality under the law, that we do not have liberty and justice for all, and this is a moment. And I dont want to have a college student now, a teenager now have to have the same pain that I have that 30 years have passed and nothing has changed.

Blacks don’t want equality before the law, they want to be above the law. We’ve already seen a scaling back of policing which allows black criminals to run rampant in most cities because they know they can get away with virtually anything.
Put the Blame on
“The oppressed to not yearn for freedom. They do not yearn for equality. They yearn to feel their bootheel against the throat of the oppressor.”
- Maya Angelou
THAT is what he really believes.
YAWN, that’s what they also said in 2009, after their god the Fraud was coronated.
Yeah, okay, Senator Booker. Youre obviously terribly oppressed. </ sarc>

You have been in office for quite awhile. What did you do about it?
Corey remember OJ?
Yeah, it was funny listening to Revrun Al bemoan the inability of blacks to get ahead in this country because of “the knee to our necks” amid rampant, systemic racism in this country and then he commenced to recognizing all the rich and powerful blacks who were in attendance at George Floyd’s funeral.
Sit down and be quiet, Spartacus.
Get rid of affirmative action so that whites get a chance at scholarships and promotions.
If Booker were right (and he isn’t) then how come officer Chauvin is being prosecuted for murder and how come Minneapolis has a black chief of police? How in the h did he become chief among “blatant institutional racism”???
No. BLM is blatant anti-cop, period.
I remember, ?Booker and T-Bone marching down Crenshaw arm and arm.
Back in the day, fighting the power!!
The guy’s a fabulist.
Booker: “they do not yet have equality under the law.”
It is amazing how OBEYING THE LAW works when it comes to equality....they should try it. They will have more EQUALITY than they probably want....
“74% of Americans see George Floyds death while in Minneapolis police custody as a sign of a broader problem in the country.”
I’m one of those 74%. The broader problem is that Leftism kills, as does all varieties of murderous utopianism.
Yes there is no equality for them under the law but not in the way you’re thinking, Spartacus.
Fact say otherwise. F**k your feelings booker
Booker is an ass. America has bent over backwards for blacks. It’s the democrats who have had absolute control over education and almost all of our big cities and police departments for decades who have failed the blacks.
Why are so many inner city blacks living in poverty in our democrat controlled big cities? Why are so many of them not properly educated so they can get jobs? Why do so many young black men turn to drugs and crime? Why are so many black children living in fatherless homes?
What happened to Detroit?
Why is Chicago the murder capital of the world?
Why don’t Booker and all the other democrat poverty/race pimps get off their fat pampered and privileged asses and do something real to raise these people out of poverty rather than deliver empty sermons, platitudes and welfare checks that entrap them in ghettos and poverty?
Why? Because they’d rather hold them down on the goverment plantations and blame it on whites and teach them from an early age to hate school, hate the cops, hate the flag, hate the whites and hate America—and vote democrat.
Blacks being purposely held back is what keeps these marxist race pimps in office.
Make sure most police are black. Problem solved.
