General Mattis may have been truly great in physical combat. He is not competent in analyzing political philosophy. The difference between the values of the American tradition and those of the contemporary Left, are irreconcilable. The unity he suggests, ignores the actual issues, which have to be faced, if we are to survive as a free people.

Somewhere, there exists a computer program that has a list of names with talking points assigned. The job of the people on the list is to spout off Trump venom whenever their name pops to the top.
