MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough called for Defense Secretary Mark Esper to step down on Wednesday morning for his appearance at Monday’s event outside St. John’s Episcopal Church across from the White House
Scarborough criticized President Trump for posing outside St. John’s Church -- just hours after part of the church was burned during a night of rioting over the death of George Floyd in the nation’s capital. Critics have slammed the gesture, with many dismissing it as a photo op.
The “Morning Joe” namesake took particular issue with Trump holding the Bible for cameras, calling it a “prop,” and blasting members of the administration who participated.

Really not sure why Trump walking to a church and taking a picture with a Bible in his hand is a big deal. These people are clueless.

President Trump knew, and he has them screeching once again. I pray we can get him re-elected because this is delightful.
How about it’s part of the Presidents job to show up at disaster sites when it is deem safe for him to by the SS?

I don’t get it either. The clergy women from that denomination strongly denounce Trump’s visit. As did the insufferable Talking Heads on cable news channels.
Trump also visited the shrine to Pope John Paul II. A Catholic clergyman denounced his visit to the John Paul II shrine.
It seems as if the liberal side of our politics, is much more interested in continuing to make political statements and criticism against Trump, then they are about condemning rioting.
Over a visit to a church....while their is rioting going on.
They are exposing themselves and they do not realize what is about to happen to them.
The woman clergy member and then the archbishop both were totally prejudiced and hateful against President Trump. their bias was used to shamelessly hurt a good man.
I don't care if people say not to "judge" them. If that were true on earth then there wouldn't be be laws,police,courts, prosecutors, juries, judges, , jails and lawyers. There are. They "judge."
How about drop dead! My list keeps growing and growing.
If you remove the name TRUMP then all is good.
