Call it the Carlos Slim Times. The richest man in the world (Carlos Slim), owner of the Times, could order the editorial tone of this rag to change today if he so desired. Some of the editors would quit, of course, but last I checked, there are plenty of unemployed journalism majors ready to be hired. Might have to conduct a few thousand interviews, though, to find anyone worthwhile from this year’s crop of Antifa graduates.

The mayor and other city leaders, and even state leaders (Cuomo and AOC included), want the riots and looting to continue. They may give lip service to how dangerous the situation is, but, deep down they want the riots and looting, because, well... Trump can’t be allowed another term, and fixing the situation would allow Trump to concentrate on bringing back the economy and campaigning.
Plus, they won’t call in the National Guard, because, Trump might get credit for easing the situation, and that would not be good for democrats.
The country needs to realize that democrats are the party of riots and looting and that they support Anntifa and the looters and looters. Chaos and riots and looting, are the weapons that democrats will use in order to weaken Trump going into the election.
Do we need to get the word out that all New York Times employees have a lot of Ca$h in their desks...??
It's also just one train station from Times Square which is filled with all sorts of dreck and has even had shootings in broad daylight. Rare, yes, but they've had them.

Really, the first order of business ought to be arresting that goof-ball of a mayor for mass murder, and then start doing what they’ve been trained for and do best.
Mayor Wilhelm aka DiBlasio will not defend his city because ideologically and emotionally and politically he is on the side of the insurrectionists. They are doing what the rich kids, like Wilhelm, feel they should be doing. New Yorkers will not defend their city because they have become, over the decades, rude sheep. Pretty much the same can be said for most of the other cities being burned down. If this is to be brought under control then the Federal government i.e. Donald Trump, will have to send in the army and soon. Otherwise little Lenins and Guevaras and Maos will gradually take control of the mobs and impose some discipline and the chaotic insurrection becomes a civil war.
At that instant they will attack Trump Towers with everything they've got. Minutes or hours later the announcement comes out that PDJT is deploying troops.
The MSM turns up their shriek-o-meter even louder (actually is that physically possible?), and screams about the "obvious" Cause ==> Effect for all the world to see: Trump refused to lift a finger until his personal possessions were threatened.
They'll be crowing this line all the way into November.
