The flaw in that reasoning is that these local leaders are organically incapable to handling the situation. Either have Federal intervention or cities will be razed to the ground. Antifa will not voluntarily back off. They are in control presently.

This is President Trumps Whiskey Rebellion moment. I pray for our POTUS. This is going to be a bigger test than the wuhan virus. If he moves too soon it will be seen as "oppressing 'protesters' " but if he waits too long and entire cities burn to the ground, he will be blamed for doing nothing.

I remember a comment I read in National Review many years ago when it was a conservative magazine. The writer said that when the family in the United States is destroyed, it will require a socialist state to take care of females and a police state to handle the young men.
