Based on some videos I’ve seen, probably both ... at the same time.
Don’t you think it might be a good idea to wait for all of the facts to be released before calling police officers “jack-booted thugs”? The police arrest criminals. That’s there job. The fact that 4 cops had to be involved obviously suggests that the deceased resisted arrest. Was he violent? If you resist arrest than you put your life and the cops’ life in danger.

It appears to be a particularly egregious massively inappropriate use of force.
They were telling him to get up and get in the car while one of them still had his knee on the guy’s neck/head.

The video is be shown and watched by millions, as they should. With the cop putting 220 lbs of weight on his left knee kneeling on the mans neck, the cop knew he was killing the suspect. What that cop did to that suspect is the same thing you do to a horse to keep it from getting up.
When the suspect relieved himself during the video, I knew he had died. His urine is visible running across the sidewalk and the other cops should have known the suspect had died but did nothing to correct the situation. This video should be an easy conviction of the cops involved with 20 years minimum incarceration. I lived in Minneapolis for six months and am glad I left. Worst people with authority in the country live in that city.
