Great post.
I’ve grown tired of hearing and reading the expression “believe the science.”
I prefer to follow the science and leave belief to those areas where grace allows faith.

I'm sending this to you guys because I think you'll be interested. Brazilian scientists charge that hospitalized patients were negligently or knowingly given lethal overdoses of HCQ to produce politically biased reports on therapeutic value of HCQ.

I suspected this but these are the first ones I've found saying it out loud. It is implied, but not stated, that a criminal investigation may be warranted.

Fantastic article. Thanks so much for posting. The author makes an outstanding argument against those defending their tyrannical decisions based on "science, science, science."

It seems the politics are the same in Brazil as here. Bolsonaro is widely hated and the left is trying to defeat him. The author wrote "I haven’t found even one of these Facebook friends so far who is not a leftist, fight against the current president of Brazil and, as a rule, is in favor of the clumsy #StayAtHome.

These “scientists” gripe and condemn use of Hydroxy chloroquine, Azithromycin and zinc.
But common sense tells us that practically speaking, it is the best we have available.

Reason indicates that deaths are often caused by a cytokine storm which throws the immune system into overdrive. Hydroxy suppresses the immune system in the autoimmune diseases such as lupus and therefore seems a reasonable treatment for the cytokine storm complication of Covid19, with adjustments for side effects for certain patients.

I wonder if the “scientists” are group think and have forgotten how to “think”.

I’ll take Door #2, which speaks to both the politicization and monetization of medicine, both of which disgust me. IMHO, those doing such things should be in prison, along with government officials who have, with a depraved heart, killed tens of thousands of the elderly by requiring infected residents to be sent back to their homes.

I have read many studies and am convinced of both it’s safety AND it’s efficacy, to the point that I will DEMAND HCQ for myself and my family. FYI, my mother has taken it for 5 years for RA, with no ill effects.
