CNN's Chris Cillizza Displays Incredibly Poor Timing on Amy Klobuchar Hype

CNN's Chris Cillizza might want to reconsider his Amy Klobuchar hype. It's not too late for a major revision.

At 4:34 PM ET on Thursday, CNN's Chris Cillizza had his vice presidential rankings published. It is something Cillizza has done for the past few weeks in which the women that apparent Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden might pick are ranked as to their order of probability of being chosen. For the past few weeks, Senator Amy Klobuchar has settled in at second spot right behind Senator Kamala Harris in first place. However, Cillizza also added a bit of hype for Klobuchar about her husband recovering from coronavirus that he might want to reconsider in light of a video that was posted on YouTube almost exactly an hour earlier at 3:35 PM ET that same day.

How long before the MSM finally reports on the highly embarrassing admission about HCQ by Amy Klobuchar? Not embarrassing if you are a NORMAL person but a career killer if you are a Democrat aspiring to be chosen VP by Biden.

I actually think it’s odd that she would admit to it. Frankly, that seems like a rookie political mistake. Sure, it’s honest, and that’s good — but it is strategically unwise.

Medicines are private. She doesn’t have to say anything. Her doctors aren’t going to rush to a microphone and spill the beans. She could have brushed off specifics and just toed the party line.

On the one hand, it’s admirable that she told it straight. But on the other hand, she shows a lack of political skill — she manifestly failed to advance the agenda.

She VERY RELUCTANTLY admitted it and then followed up with a slam at Trump for suggesting HCQ could be useful in fighting coronavirus.

Pretty much my point — she knew she should say nothing. She was reluctant to admit it. But she went ahead and did it anyway, against her better judgment. And then she turned around and basically stabbed her husband in the back for following Trump’s crazy advice.

She’s an idiot.

I heard enough about female VP candidates when Geraldine Ferraro ran. Democrats have their special rules of politics and they try to apply their warped sense of thinking to the world. There's the Commutative Property of Candidates: m + f = f + m, m x f = f x m, where f = m. The Associative Property of Candidates: (m + f) + lgbtq = m + (f + lgbtq), (m x f) x lgbtq = m (f x lgbtq), where m = f = lgbtq. And of course there is the Identity Property of Candidates: mflgbtqbha+0 = 0+mflgbtqbha = mflgbtqbha, where 0 = Republican.

This is all designed to inoculate Rat candidates from policy criticism and to use as a weapon against white male conservatives which Rats call sexist, homophobic, racist and xenophobic. Well it is time that we throw that right back at them. Do not defend yourself. Attack them, ridicule them, embarrass them, find something personal and destroy them. It is time for men to grow a set and cut these Rats down a notch. Our freedom depends on it.
