SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham says she will help make sure that racial- and ethnic-minority voters know about the potential benefits of electing Joe Biden as president.
Asked Wednesday at an online news conference whether she would accept a potential invitation to run for vice president in November, Lujan Grisham said she is completely dedicated to her job as governor but also will provide specialized support to Biden's presidential campaign.

Given that she is Hispanic, I have wondered why her name has not been mentioned more often as a possible running mate for Biden.

Lujan-Grisham is just as much a fascist as Whitmer or Lori Lightfoot is. She fits the mold of the female tinpot dictator perfectly.
She is the safest VP choice for Biden.

If I am the Democrats, I would try to find a fresh face (at least fresh outside of the home state). That worked best for them historically, and could have worked well for McCain if he (or his staff) didn’t decide to sabotage her at every turn.
For that, governors work best. Must be a female governor, under 70. That leaves four. Eliminate Kate Brown because she’s too queer. That can work in Oregon, but won’t fly so well in rural Dem areas in North Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, etc.
The remaining three are Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island, the oldest looking 49 year old Italian woman I have ever seen in my life. Maybe she was trying to effect an old money look for the folks in Newport. She backed Bloomberg, which puts her on the outs with the entire Marxist wing of the party. And of course our pal Whitmer and Grisham. Whitmer would turn off black voters almost as much as Klobuchar does. However, the Deep State types would probably like her political lineage (Her father served as head of the state department of commerce). That leaves Gresham.
She would make the perfect Karen.
