Former Bernie Sanders campaign co-chair Nina Turner on Friday blasted Joe Biden over the comments -- which he later walked back -- about black voters choosing between him and President Trump in November's election.
Earlier in the day, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee raised eyebrows during an interview with Charlamagne tha God on the radio show "The Breakfast Club" as he defended his record with the black community.
“I tell you if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” Biden said.
Turner offered a blistering response to the progressive media outlet Status Coup.
"Pure unadulterated hubris, the taking for granted of the black vote, the insult to us as he tried to quote on quote answer that question in a black vernacular," Turner said. "What other racial or ethnic group in this country has to deal with that kind of foolishness? Not one ... where all of a sudden you change your speech pattern to answer the question too? Too many white politicians have a habit of thinking if they change their speech pattern they're really relating to the black community.
She added, "As I said all along, the black vote must be earned; it is not owned, it is earned. For any white person to think that they are the authority on what is and what is not black is the highest insult."

By itself it is an insulting remark. But the real reason these people are “outraged” (Hershel excluded) is that it is true, they are indeed “owned” by the Rat Party. It’s not nitpicking to just merely disagree. I have no problem with disagreements, as it’s how we go about disagreeing that matters. And you do raise some good points that are potentially valid, but as of right now he is out. The question is will he full throttle get back in, and as of right now I see no evidence that he will.

This is new territory you see, and while blacks turned out to vote for Biden in the primaries, many were still troubled by the 94 Crime Bill, 3 strikes law, etc.
Biden’s words about “then you ain’t black” have ended his ability to say the 94 Crime Bill and so on is all in the past.

Happened to hear Glenn Beck sidekicks say today: Michelle O would not feel motivated to barnstorm around Iowa but if the nomination were offered with 4 weeks to go and all she had to do was give marshmallow question puff interviews by the gushing media 100% in her awe and then accept the presidency over Trump, she might do it. She would be far ahead of Trump and just a shoo in winner in the election. Yipes!
Bill O’Reilly has said on his site that he has talked to insiders himself who know Michelle has had several small groups of Dem Party guys come over and talk to her. So far not interested in the hard work of campaigning.
