Stacey Abrams is running a less-than-subtle campaign to be Joe Bidens vice-presidential running mate. Republicans should hope she succeeds. If selected, she would displace Sarah Palin as the least-qualified person ever to serve on a major-party ticket.
Biden should understand this, because he saw firsthand how much damage Palins selection did to then-Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the Republican presidential nominee in 2008. Preelection polls showed that 6 out of 10 Americans said Palin was not qualified for the job, and a Stanford University study found that she cost McCain more than 2 million votes.

Pali. Was a mayor and a very successfull Govenor. She was far more qualified than Obama who was a corrupt state congressman and a Senator who didnt show up to vote half the time. Stacy Adams is fat and ugly and delusional. I guess since they are negos, they are some how qualified....to screw up the country.

Palin was a former mayor and a sitting governor at the time she was selected as VP. Abrams lost her run for governor and has done nothing since, other than apparently eat and eat.

Ridiculous. Palin was a governor of Alaska, and had executive experience.

One of these things is not like the other.
Sarah Palin was an accomplished Governor.
Stacey Abrams is a failed candidate for Governor.
But the DemMedia trashed Palin as a backwoods moron and hails Abrams as a brilliant runway superstar.
This time around more eyes are open to their propaganda, so this could get good.

The vote tally for the McCain/Palin ticket was NOT for McCain; it was mostly votes for Palin!
Marc T. at WaPo needs to saca la cabeza and buy a clue.

Volunteered at local GOP headquarters to make phone calls, pass out yard signs and the like in the summer of 2008. Much for the same reason that Butler joined the Confederate army at the battle of Atlanta; a soft spot for lost causes. Anyway, to make a long story short, we couldn’t give away McVain lawn signs before Palin joined the ticket and we couldn’t keep them in stock afterward.

Oh stop.
She's quite experienced. After all, Stacey has been the governor of Georgia for about a year and a half now......
