A deeper look at what happened with Michael Flynn
Aberdeen American News ^ | May 14, 2020 | Art Marmorstein

Posted on 05/16/2020 12:53:21 PM PDT by ancientart

"The Travesty of Justice Ends for Michael Flynn” blared one headline last week. On the same day, another headline warned of “The Appalling Damage of Dropping the Flynn Case.”

Both articles appeared in major national newspapers, and the writers must have known that thousands of critical eyes would be on every detail of their stories: important to get things right. But the law of the excluded middle should tell us that one of these stories is embarrassingly, egregiously and maybe even career-endingly wrong.

Funny how he doesn’t mention the billions of dollars that went missing in these agencies.

And that General Flynn was going to expose it.

When people steal billions of dollars, the coverup takes a great deal of effort.

Including framing innocent patriots like General Flynn.

There is no accountability for inaccuracy in media. In fact it is just the opposite, look at the history of the Pulitzer prizes in media.

The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.

Take that Bambi.

This is not about inaccuracy in the media.

It’s about hiding what they did with all that money.

And keeping the Benghazi secrets locked up.

And whatever else General Flynn had discovered.

The next shoe to drop will be whether General Petraeus was set up with an FBI honey trap. All signs point to: Probably.

The DOJ and Defense (who are in agreement) will petition the DC Court of Appeals for a “Mandamus” meaning they’ll ask a superior court to order Judge Sullivan to dismiss the case.

DOJ/Def will show the Appeals Court the DOJ’s dismissal order, their reasons behind it, exculpatory evidence that was denied by the State, remind the court that the executive branch has sole discresion to charge or dismiss and inform the court that the case against Flynn was fraudulent from the very beginning.

For good measure (IMO), they’ll ask the Appeals Court to order Sullivan that all other “side projects” (Amicus & questioning Flynn’s former defense attys) be terminated as well.

If Sullivan decides to sentence Flynn that too will be vacated by the Appeals Court (not to mention a strong rebuke for going beyond his duties and enumerated powers).

Why is Sullivan doing this? Stubborn? Butt-hurt? Believing that he alone can end a case? Delay the case after the November elections?

—or—

Force POTUS to issue a pardon giving the Left talking points that POTUS “interfered with the court verdict”. If pardoned, Flynn might not have recourse when comes to a lawsuit.

.

THE CASE isnt being ‘dropped’ it now becomes and investigation/exposure/prosecution of those who abuse their power in railroading him.

Criminal acts to try to cover up Obama&cos Coverup of the Hillary Clinton Crimes and the Attempted Coup against Trump.

High Treason can be punishable by Death and the extent of the whole criminal conspiracy could END the Democrat party ...

I wouldn’t give a ‘plugged nickel’ for the lives of the leftist media propagandist later for their part in assisting this crime against America in helping these traitors.

“Delay the case after the November elections?”

BINGO! Delaying Flynn delays the other work Barr and Durham are doing. If Flynn is freed, others feeling the pressure may talk to save their hides, knowing Flynn will be free to show Barr and Durham where to look for evidence. As long as Flynn is bottled up, and the results of the 2020 election are uncertain, many participants in the crimes have no incentive to engage in a plea bargain.

The D.C. bureaucracy is designed to protect truth, justice and the American way. Criticism of D.C. bureaucrats and their policies are attacks on truth, justice, and America itself.

Voila - the deep state and its discontents.

Treason in the US is barely considered a serious crime, with a few years in prison being the most recent time served. It’s not worth the high bar to apply it.

There have been no executions for treason since the Civil War, and I think only one then.

Likely charges would be “conspiracy to defraud the US Government” and “deprivation of rights under color of law” and a few more.

in any bureaucratic system, there is a tendency to conflate the system with its goal and to view an attack on the system as an attack on the goal.

that is an interesting law of systemantics

Systemantics

- government/bureaucratic systems in general work poorly or not at all
- new government/bureaucratic systems generate new problems and/or make old problems worse
- government/bureaucratic systems tend to persist. And as they persist, they tend to grow and expand, and as they grow and expand, they encroach. And as they encroach they resist limitations and elimination.
- and also, as they grow and expand, they produce unexpected side effects, unintended negative consequences, and perversity of results. The total behavior cannot be predicted.
- large, complex, complicated government/bureaucratic systems oppose their own proper function/goal
- systems develop goals of their own as soon as they come into being
- in any government/bureaucratic system, there is a tendency to conflate the system with its goal and to view an attack on the system as an attack on the goal.
- people in large, complex, complicated government/bureaucratic systems do not do what the system says they are doing
- the system itself does not do what it says it is doing
- reality is whatever the system says is reality

I have suspected that for some time.

He wants to force Trump to pardon Flynn so that Flynn has less of a case against the FBI leaders

Flynn’s original defense team should NOT have the inquiry into their side deals with DOJ dropped, although Sullivan should not supervise - he is a likely material witness or even target of the probe.

STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE Then-prez Obama's penchant for appointing "czars" seemed quaint at the time but later we
learned these were his worker bees. They did the dirty work ordered by the Obama principals who were too dumb to do it themselves.

The potential for abuse was breathtaking.......for years the Obama cabal mined the incomparable database of the NSA
which consists of virtually all electronic communications – emails, text messages, everything – launched into the ethersphere.....
staggering numbers of intercepts were monitored by Obama.

But a helpful CNN headline gently reminded readers, “The 'Obamagate' conspiracy is based on nothing but routine intel activity.”

Oh well, if journos say Obamagate is so "routine” then they wont mind if "routine intel activity"
is conducted on a few people over at CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc.

And Obama surely wont mind if "routine intel activity" is conducted on him, his children, his family, maybe even Valerie Jarrett and her family.......and so on.

Nanvy Pelosi is also way overdue for some "routine intel activity."

Not to worry, it's all just "routine."
