(DAILY WIRE) As a student known to have psychiatric issues and a criminal record murdered 17 students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine’s Day 2018, Sgt. Brian Miller hid behind his car instead of helping teenagers and faculty.
Miller was fired along with three other deputies due to a “neglect of duty,” but he now has been reinstated with full back pay, The Miami Herald reported. Miller was paid $138,410.25 in 2017, and was fired in June 2019, more than a year after the shooting.

He saw the shooter, knew he wasn’t supposed to be there, had the chance to tell him to get lost before anything happened, yet walked away and then “bravely” hid behind a pillar until the shooting stopped.
And now he’s back at the same place, ready to allow it to happen again.

I refuse to participate in the slavish homage demanded for first responders in my community during this event. Not that they don’t deserve our utmost support when in the lawful pursuit of their duties, but they have become political pawns more and more as leftists invade every corner of local government.
In my city, officials are encouraging “ovation Thursdays,” where we’re supposed to go out on our front porches and applaud like trained seals at 7:00 pm for 5 minutes. No thanks.
I am not sure what he did. Did he violate department guidelines?
presuming he did not notice the guy coming in until it was too late, what is the protocol for him?
* sight the perp(s) and attempt to shoot him/her/them? if so, what about potential for friendly fire victims?
* charge the location? if so, does he expose himself to the perps field of fire while charging? how would it help if he got injured or died while charging?
Cowards are rewarded. Oh, make that LEO cowards get rewarded.
When it comes time to load you in the box cars he won’t be near as bashful. Or to escort you into the camps after you have been disarmed. You should see him strut his stuff then.
