When we’re watching Amazon Prime — at least the IMDB movies — Pluto is advertised constantly. It looks good. I just have to figure out how to get it — will try the browser on the smart TV.

That's just the problem. To get OANN, Amazon Prime, etc. I have to figure out how all this streaming stuff works. We don't have a ROKU or Apple TV yet. Many people we know don't either.
Our flat screen TV is nearly 10 years old... That will probably have to be replaced, too. It is not a Smart TV.

Do either of you have a Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, or Chromecast capable television? If so, you can download an app that lets you get more channels. One is Pluto TV with specialized content, but others with many cable channels in them include Fubo TV and Philo TV, as well, but these charge a fee for this access (but with Philo, its far cheaper than getting them through cable channels).
