You would first have to prove that masks reduce the spread (they do not)) that the virus is highly lethal (it is not) and that the person not wearing the mask has the disease. If you want to wear a mask go ahead. Stop trying to force others to play along with the charade
It has certainly been ‘highly lethal’ for everyone who’d died from it. It is also an extremely unpleasant experience for a far larger number of people.
If it’s less lethal than earlier data indicated, that’s because it’s even more contagious. Somewhere between 15% and 50% of New Yorkers are estimated to have been infected. Let’s go with the smaller number of infections: 15% is within a rounding error of 1/6 — that’s one bullet in a six-round revolver.
You have the burden of proof reversed. It’s up to the potential (15% or more) carrier to prove that he or she is not contagious, before taking no measures to protect other people. If you neither been tested recently nor have recovered from the disease; then, you must assume you’re a carrier.
