Did you ever wonder how allegedly sane people participated in the organized murder of 6-million Jews in WWII? Well, when you read stories like this one you now know. How can policemen do these things when they know it is against the Constitution? Their defense will be that they were just following orders. That is exactly what the murders said. How sad.

I guess the lady is going to get social demerits for being uncooperative. That comment to me is the most disturbing part of this video. What, in the deputy’s mind, is going to be the consequence to this lady because the deputy is going to document that the lady is uncooperative?
It’s like that psychology experiment years ago that went something like this: they recruited random Americans to assist by hitting the shock button/lever whenever a guy in a lab coat told them the “test subject” gave an incorrect answer. Most of those recruited willingly zapped the actor who gave the wrong answers because their submission to authority figures [in lab coats therefore “experts”] was so strong. Very few refused to participate in torturing a fellow citizen.

RE: Response to Video
A recent video circulating on the internet involving two of our deputies has resulted in numerous calls, comments and questions from the public. We want to further clarify our approach and response to this situation and others county-wide as it pertains to the Governor’s Safer at Home order. Please note that this situation did not originate or continue as a response to a violation of the Safer at Home order. Our deputies are out there to help educate, not arrest, law abiding citizens. To date, we have issued zero citations, made zero arrests, and have not made any referrals to the District Attorney’s Office relating to the Safer at Home order.
Most people are adhering to the Safer at Home order, and we have received very few complaints from the public.
Our deputies wear many hats on a daily basis such as being an investigator, enforcer, peace maker, and counselor, to name a few. Our deputies have a tough job and sometimes they have to wear many of these hats during the same call. The referenced situation is just one example.
Thank You to the citizens of Calumet County for your support of both me and our deputies.

The bad actors in our society have gotten away with this and believe me, they will try it again for some other ‘national emergency’. I’m thinking of our Governor here in Colorado who is refusing to release the data he used as an excuse for the shutdown. We have open record laws but he doesn’t think they apply to him.
Considering my entire household income has been eliminated because of a tyrannical government forced shut-in and cops don't give a damn about the constitution, I am speaking out. The cops will have to live with themselves and if this crap goes on much longer they might have to make a life or death decision about speaking out. Freedom is not about money. Your question doesn't change my mind one iota. Not speaking out when it is difficult to do so just shows how principled a person is. This ChiCom virus thing has shown that that the people who need the highest principles, like cops, do not.

Why?
Switzerland has study results that prove children are NOT vectors. The reason kids don’t become infected enough to have symptoms/spread the virus is because they have not yet developed enough mature ACE2 receptors, which is a main target of the virus.
On the off-chance your kids become infected, they will be 98% likely to have no or very light symptoms. They are more at risk from you grocery shopping (& BTW, there is proof your groceries are not fomites)& being exposed. They are building their immune systems and they need exposures to do that, so don’t fear that you or your wife could put them at severe risk.
Be more afraid of your children starving due to panic-induced OCD, manufactured food shortages and/or lack of domestically-produced essential pharmaceuticals/precursors.
You are being manipulated by your love of your family. Your children (and all of us) are being held hostage to a communist-inspired take-over of your country.
You are told your children’s health is at risk in order to recruit you to the cause of destroying their country and their future. You are signaling that you would prefer them to be starving, malnourished slaves with no access to needed medications than to have a distant chance of illness.
I’m sure they’ll thank you and your neighbors will see the wisdom of destroying the nation rather than incur the slightest of personal risks.
Talk about ‘between the lines’.
