That’s really the problem. The governor can lift his shutdown order, but he can’t force businesses to open. And businesses will not open if most of their customers are still hiding under their beds waiting for Daddy to chase the monsters out of the closet.

Two things.

I don’t accept this poll due to its source and past history.

A business owner would be lax if he didn’t open up even if he did so with minimal staffing. My guess is people will get out when possible and will accept social distancing as a minor inconvenience.

As time goes on and media hysteria loses its hold even that will ceasecin places like sports arenas and movies.
